Probably one of the most well-known beaches on Texel; Paal 17. Better known for its fun events, such as Waves / Round of Texel and Sunbeats. The beach is located approximately 1.3 km from So What. Perfect for walking or grab your bike! On the left side you'll find 'Paal 17 Beach', a modern pavilion that breathes the beach atmosphere. On the first floor of the pavilion you'll discover a hidden gem 'Paal 17 The First Floor'. Culinary surprises are prepared in the open kitchen. Beach Pavilion Pole 21
Just the walk to Beach Pavilion Pole 21 is worth it alone. Just outside the seaside resort of De Koog, you'll find the hilly beach access to pole 21. Stroll along a paved path - where you'll occasionally encounter a wild pheasant - through the Texel Dunes. Beach Pavilion Pole 21 is cozily decorated and has an incredibly spacious terrace that rivals any sunny destination when the weather is nice. With palm trees, tables on the sand, and a very extensive menu, this is truly a place to be when you're on Texel. Various vegan and vegetarian dishes are served. They also have a fun children's menu featuring items like mini poke bowls!
